21 Burger with a well-balanced Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

21 Club

21 West 52nd Street, New York, NY 10019

“The richness of the burger blend—plus its accoutrements—offer one of the best levers to bring out the best in a bottle of Napa Valley Cabernet. The complex-yet-balanced, full body, and layers of fruit are all elevated and enhanced when paired with the classic ’21’ Burger. As a wise man once said, ‘There are no young wines with red meat.’ This burger is a perfect example.” — Philip Pratt, Wine Director

When you bite into the burger at Manhattan’s iconic ’21’ Club, you bite into a piece of food history. The former speakeasy is the home of America’s first gourmet hamburger—they debuted it in the 1950s—and its burger is still as solid more than half a century later. Made with a custom Master Purveyors dry-aged blend patty, house-made relish, and a brioche bun from nearby Amy’s Bread, the burger embodies decadent, old-school NYC dining through and through. Pair it with a full-bodied Napa Valley Cabernet to enhance flavors from both the burger and the wine.
