“Napa Valley stems from the great tradition and rich history that the region holds.” -Eduardo Porto Carreiro, Beverage Director

Untitled is a seasonal American restaurant from Danny Meyer’s Union Square Hospitality Group, helmed by Chef Michael Anthony and located at the Whitney Museum of American Art, newly designed by Renzo Piano. Untitled’s Pimento Cheeseburger with Napa Refosco = a match made in heaven. The fresh yet bold and angular red wine is a perfect foil for the savory and ever-so-slightly spicy burger.  The Untitled Burger begs for a vibrant and juicy red wine to match its layers of flavors and this Refosco is just that.

About Eduardo Porto Carreiro – Beverage Director

Eduardo was born in Rio de Janeiro and grew up in Vienna and Maryland. From an early age, with a family of enthusiastic cooks and eaters, Eduardo recognized that no family dinner was complete without a bottle of good wine on the table, and he never missed an opportunity to request a sip, thus planting the seeds for his future career. Eduardo’s career in wine began on the west coast, where he worked as a wine clerk stocking shelves in a retail store in Los Angeles, California. At Untitled and Studio Cafe, Eduardo is particularly excited about the Whitney Museum’s stunning new downtown home, as well as his role in selecting wines to complement Chef Mike Anthony’s contemporary American cooking.
